Fun Collectibles: Bradfield Posters

"Jolly" Roger Bradfield started his career illustrating children's cereal boxes, and fun advertising characters like Mr. Bubble. He even animated the first Keebler Elves. But he quickly moved to illustrating and writing children's books in the mid-1960's through the early 1970's. Also throughout the 1970's Bradfield wrote and illustrated the comic strip Dooley's World.

At some point during all of this, I'm guessing the late 1960's, Bradfield also made these posters...

Don't you just love them?!?! If you'd like to see any of the images better, just click on them and they'll get bigger. I believe these posters to have been printed at Western Printing in Racine, Wisconsin. Each poster is about 17" x 25", and while there are a few issues on some of the edges and/or corners, these guys are in pretty good shape considering there about 50-something year old paper. Never folded. Colors are vibrant. I have multiples of many of these posters. I'm asking $24 each.

(If you're not in the Bloomington-Normal (Illinois) area, I will ship for an additional $7 in the U.S. Email if you'd like an item shipped internationally. tahnee@RetrofitCulture.com)
