American Paint Company: Beginner Class
$60/person (Limit 6 Participants)
Taught by Chris Hardine of Midwest Cottage & Finds
Summary: Do you have a piece of furniture that you love, but has seen better days? Or furniture that you've never loved, but with a paint makeover will be perfect? In this two hour class, Chris will teach you the beginner techniques that can lead you towards transforming various wood, metal, and fabric items with paint. This Beginner class will focus on the basics of painting with American Paint Company's clay/chalk/mineral base paint, and finishing with American Paint Company's topcoat and waxes. With this class, you'll walk away with the confidence to tackle your next paint project.
American Paint Company paints, topcoats, and waxes will be available for purchase before and after the class.
This class will be very similar to the one I took last June. To get a better idea of what the class will encompass, check out my post from the class I took here.
Chris has done some amazing transformations with APC paint; a few of my favorite are chronicled on her blog. I love the makeovers she did on this side table and chair. Check out the entire post here, or just look at these pictures, they're phenomenal!
If you're interested in taking the class, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or stop by the store to sign up.
One of the other transformations she did was chronicled on Facebook here. But I'll just highlight the fun stuff, a before and after!
If you've already tried out American Paint Company paint, top coat, or wax and would love to get your hands on some without traveling very far or paying for shipping, remember Chris will be selling APC products at Retrofit Culture on December 11th.
