Thrift Share Monday :: Vintage Shoes Galore!

This weekend was a fast weekend. I worked at the Bronze Giraffe Antique Mall on Saturday, and then spent most of the rest of the weekend sprucing up furniture for upcoming shows. But I did manage to do a little thrifting, too!

I found, count them, THREE pairs of rad retro shoes!

Cute and classy heels.

And I just love the straps on these!
All three of these pairs will be getting a really good cleaning and heading with me to St. Louis on Saturday, May 11th for Spring Fling!

Spring Fling is a new Midwest show with vendors selling vintage clothing, vintage accessories and vintage home decor, as well as vintage-inspired handmade items. Also, there will be live music featuring local artists and, for the children of the '80s, a video game lounge featuring Mario Bros. games projected onto big screens. Sounds fun, right? If you are in the St. Louis area, you should stop by! Here's the Facebook invite for more details and to let your friends know too :: Parsimonia's Spring Fling, May 11th

Okay, back to show and tell...I also got these super cute tiny artsy mushroom prints!

I'm not exactly sure what will become of these but I feel a crafty project coming on.

And my last score was a purse for me!

This cute bag is from 1154 Lill Studio, these fabrics were most likely custom picked by some and the bag is reversible! If you've never heard of 1154 Lill, its kinda like Build-A-Bear for women who love purses; you get to pick out all the fabrics yourself from their huge assortment, and then you get a bag especially made for you. A good friend took me and some other friends there to make purses, and I took a good friend to pick out a diaper bag when she was expecting her first baby. They have stores in Chicago and Boston, but you can also put together your own bag online. I still have the one I made many years ago, and now I have this one, perfect condition and only $2.50! Score!

Did you make it out to any thrift stores, garage/estate sales, or flea markets this weekend?
